Welcome at our kennel Akhlut.

The name refers to the animals that are characteristic to Lander and Ilka. Lander is just like a wolf and Ilka just like a killer whale. Akhlut is een mytical animal that takes the form of a wold-orca hybrid.

In 2015 we met the breed Suomen Lapinkoira. And by the end of that year we had our first lappy at home, Storm, Antarctic' Explorer Okkiaksak. Storm was a typical lapinkoira and he convinced us to take a second one. By the end of 2016 Lumi, Melhankozia Monster Mash went from France to his new home in Belgium. They are 2 dogs with their own character but they live like real brothers together.

But we still had one dream, to have a real sleddog, the Alaskan Malamute. In the beginning of 2018 this dream came true, Aurora, Antarctic'Explorer Quiet Evening Whisper, came in to our live.
